ArsLegem Successfully Defended Onduline Ukraine in Tax Litigation

ArsLegem team and its partner Oleksandr Petrov successfully represented Onduline Ukraine (Ukrainian subsidiary of a leading European producer of construction materials) in litigation with Ukrainian tax authorities.

ArsLegem’s team has managed to prove at court the unlawfulness of ruling by tax authorities in relation to losses of previous periods, additional charges of VAT and income tax for the total amount (in additional taxes and fines) of over UAH 11 million. It took over one year of hearings in the first instance and appeal administrative courts, totalling in 12 hearings, to resolve the case. All claims by tax authorities were fully rejected by court.

The client was represented by ArsLegem’s team under the lead of Oleksandr Petrov.
